Church Services

10.45am Morning Service
The main gathering of the congregation, with separate groups for the children in 'Junior Church'. The format is informal, with a mixture of styles of music, and a celebration of Communion twice a month.

Adults and children follow the same teaching program, so discussions can continue over lunch at home, as well as over refreshments served in the hall next door to the church building.

Crèche age children (under 3) can use a special area at the back of the Church where there are toys and books, and crayons and paper.

6.30pm Evening Service
A smaller, but vibrant gathering which again is informal in style, and focused on Bible teaching. We would tend to expound a whole Bible book over a number of weeks, or a section of a larger book. Most members attend every week, so that continuous exposition is both possible and meaningful.

Baptisms
These take place in the 10.45am service by arrangement with the Vicar. We encourage parents of child candidates for baptism to attend our 'Christianity Explored' course which runs most terms.

Weddings and Funerals
At the happiest and saddest times of life we want to rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. We want to help all we can with preparation for marriage, and making the wedding day a wonderful occasion – and to support couples as they grow in their relationships together. We want to support the bereaved, and make a funeral service all it should be – but also to be there in the months that lie ahead when families have to make the adjustments to life without the person who has died.

Please contact us whenever you need us.
